DQM x Mark McNairy | 5 Questions With Mark McNairy

We recently caught up with Mark McNairy in the midst of his DQM collaboration to answer a few questions for us. The designer breaks down the collaboration for us in a quick five minutes and in five questions. The project includes three exclusive shoe designs, a Navy Suede Long Wing Brogue, a Black Suede Chukka Boot, and a Grey Suede Cap Derby Boot which all feature McNairy’s signature details such as the red brick and crepe soles, as well as a skateboard deck. The Boris Bidjan Saberi menswear brand was created in 2006 and draws from precise, edgy, modern designs while focusing on creations of functionality and a strong feeling of freedom and innovation. His roots and taste for street culture drives him to develop the idea of a “dark hip hop style”, mixing sophisticated casualwear and post gothic influences. Born in Munich, Germany, on the 11th of September, 1978, Persian – German designer Boris Bidjan Saberi began his fashion career with a leather accessories brand, U CAN FUCK W, launched whilst he was studying for an internship.
