Surface 2 Air | Moccasin Tassle Loafer
Have a look at the new Moccasin Tassle Loafer from French brand Surface 2 Air. Interesting choice, using tassels vs. the typical boat shoe lace. Made up of premium suede, these Mocs are lightweight and flexible. The shoe rests comfortably on a boat shoe sole. These are definitely something that we are looking forward to!

Quoddy | Masleet Oxford
The Masleet Oxford by Quoddy is superb in its simplicity. Like all of the Maine-based shoemaker’s products, the Masleet Oxfords are 100% hand-sewn and made of Horween Navy Chromexcel leather. Mated with a red brick sole, the shoes take up to eight weeks to finish. Look for these at a New York Leffot in the near future.

Have a look at the Sailing Shoe by Mentor. The shoe’s come in four colorway’s including Grey, Black, Brown & Grey/Navy combo. All shoes are wrapped in premium washed leather that fasten at the front with matching leather laces. The soles have a beige trim and top-stitch detail. Now available at My Wardrobe.

Sperry | Top Sider Bahama | 2010 Spring/Summer Preview
Sperry has gotten itself back into the mainstream casual footwear game recently and are having another resurgence this upcoming Spring/Summer 2010. Their Bahama boat shoe and Bahama Chukka for the seasons are looking real nice. Both have great neutral color combinations and textile choices that remind us of the Vans Zapato del Barco series. The weathered look and bold color blocking are great signatures of Sperry and the vintage details are classic. We can’t wait for these and will give you more information as we get it.

Sperry X Band of Outsiders | Rubber Boat Shoes
Band of Outsiders continues to take the classic boat shoe and add their modern twist. Here we have the Sperry Topsider, that they’ve just released as part of the Rubber Boat Shoe collection. Youll find the Painted Trompe-L’oeil Print, Walnut Desk Print, and Notebook Composition Print.
DJ Cassidy X Rockport | Boat Shoe
Rockport offered friend and world famous DJ to the stars, DJ Cassidy, the opportunity to design his own pair of the Bridgeport boat shoe. To create the shoe, Cassidy drew inspiration from his musical and fashion influences, notably Run-DMC and Michael Jackson. To pay homage to Run-DMC, Cassidy designed a special elastic component under the tongue so that the boat shoe may be worn comfortably without laces and to celebrate Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” legendary video look, the DJ Cassidy Bridgeport boat shoe is constructed of soft pink perforated leather, a red canvas upper, and a black pinstripe.
In honor of the King Of Pop, Rockport has produced 50 limited edition pairs numbered 150 to commemorate each year of his life. The exclusive shoe comes packaged in a custom DJ Cassidy shoe box complete with pink tissue paper, red satin bow tie and personalized card from Cassidy detailing his inspirations.

Vael Charles | Spring 2010
The Vael Charles reminds us of a rugged mid -cut boat shoe. The sole has a wax feel to it and the brown laces on the black leather looks great. It really has that classic look. The slight heel makes this shoe a bit dressier than your average boat shoe, but we see no reason why you wouldnt be able to rock these with some khakis and a sweater this fall. The detail on this shoe is precise and is on the “must check out” list.

Sperry | Spring 2010 Preview
With boat shoes peaking this year, Sperry continues running its course to stay on top of the game. We had an exclusive look into what Sperry has to offer for next Spring and we were amazed by all the new styles and new materials the company put out. The Cultureshoq favorite are the sun-faded on the traditional white boat soles, a fun and exciting alternative to the traditional leathers. The photo shoot was a fun day on the dock, we saw some people fishing out some crazy looking creatures, at least they did it in style.
