Art is the expression of creative skill and imagination be it through music or on the canvas. Swizz Beatz knows this well as he appreciates the beauty in the brush stroke as much as he does the beauty in the beat. Swizz stopped by the gallery @ DD172 to speak on his art collection, his artistic influences and his connection to Ernie Barnes (the artist who created such iconic piece Sugar Shack which was used as the art work to Marvin Gaye’s “I Want You” album and the painting on the introduction to the 1980′s television show Good Times.
