DQM x Mark McNairy | 5 Questions With Mark McNairy

We recently caught up with Mark McNairy in the midst of his DQM collaboration to answer a few questions for us. The designer breaks down the collaboration for us in a quick five minutes and in five questions. The project includes three exclusive shoe designs, a Navy Suede Long Wing Brogue, a Black Suede Chukka Boot, and a Grey Suede Cap Derby Boot which all feature McNairy’s signature details such as the red brick and crepe soles, as well as a skateboard deck. Gourmet is back this Fall with some “new” designs. I say “new” because they use the Jordan sneaker as inspiration. This season, they seemed to branch out a bit which is always good. We love the duck boot style shoe, with even an air unit showing. The suede shoes are still the staple for the brand and it works well for them. The Fall 2009 Gourmet line is now available at Proper.
