We recently caught up with Mark McNairy in the midst of his DQM collaboration to answer a few questions for us. The designer breaks down the collaboration for us in a quick five minutes and in five questions. The project includes three exclusive shoe designs, a Navy Suede Long Wing Brogue, a Black Suede Chukka Boot, and a Grey Suede Cap Derby Boot which all feature McNairy’s signature details such as the red brick and crepe soles, as well as a skateboard deck. Throughout the summer of 2010, a limited run of 48 pairs will be created of each Nexus style. The shoes will be available exclusively at David Z’s flagship store in New York as well as davidz.com. Sometimes cell phones do not have the perfect color you want for you background or contact or whatever else. The Loupe Application lets you pick your own color from anything you can take a picture of. A simple click and shoot and then you just suck the color out and there you have it. The app is perfect for artists, web designers or graphic artists. Its so easy, a caveman could do it.
