DQM x Mark McNairy | 5 Questions With Mark McNairy

We recently caught up with Mark McNairy in the midst of his DQM collaboration to answer a few questions for us. The designer breaks down the collaboration for us in a quick five minutes and in five questions. The project includes three exclusive shoe designs, a Navy Suede Long Wing Brogue, a Black Suede Chukka Boot, and a Grey Suede Cap Derby Boot which all feature McNairy’s signature details such as the red brick and crepe soles, as well as a skateboard deck. Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid | Tiffany

The “Tiffany” blue/green has been made popular in sneakers by the Diamond Supply Co. The Nike Dunk SB that was released a few years back was the peak for the color. Being that the color is so strong and such a hit, Nike is dipping into that pantone again here with the Nike Air Tech Challenge. This tennis classic has a 80’s silhouette feel with some technical plastic lace straps. The pattern on the side of the shoe also gives off that retro vibe.
