Back in 2008 , the Showdown in Chinatown was a huge hit, involving stars like Thierry Henry, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd and others in a concrete soccer game. This year they are bringing it back involving stars like Steve Nash, Claudio Reyna, Thierry Henry, Tony Parker, Javier Zanetti, Raja Bell, Adrian Mutu, Chris Bosh, Ivan Cordoba, Grant Hill, and Giovanni van Brockhurst. The Showdown is a free-to-the-public event and takes place on Wednesday, June 24th at Sarah D. Roosevelt Park, at 6:00 pm.
