We recently caught up with Mark McNairy in the midst of his DQM collaboration to answer a few questions for us. The designer breaks down the collaboration for us in a quick five minutes and in five questions. The project includes three exclusive shoe designs, a Navy Suede Long Wing Brogue, a Black Suede Chukka Boot, and a Grey Suede Cap Derby Boot which all feature McNairy’s signature details such as the red brick and crepe soles, as well as a skateboard deck. If you were around and about in the mid 90’s you would already know that this boot is not only a classic, its a legend. The Polo Ranger also known as the ”Cookie” boot was brought back last Fall and sold out within a few days of its release. This year we see it in 3 classic colors and materials; Brandy oiled Leather, Black Leather, and Tan nubuck. David Z. is the first retailer to receive them and they will be available in the flagship store tomorrow, Thursday July 16th and online Friday July 17th. Supplies are extremely limited.
