DQM x Mark McNairy | 5 Questions With Mark McNairy

We recently caught up with Mark McNairy in the midst of his DQM collaboration to answer a few questions for us. The designer breaks down the collaboration for us in a quick five minutes and in five questions. The project includes three exclusive shoe designs, a Navy Suede Long Wing Brogue, a Black Suede Chukka Boot, and a Grey Suede Cap Derby Boot which all feature McNairy’s signature details such as the red brick and crepe soles, as well as a skateboard deck. The world already knows Red Wing is taking over this Fall with their insane boot line-up. Seeing their Spring 2010 line extends their take-over into warmer weather and takes Red Wing to where they have never gone before. The Wabasha Hi Canvas is a rich moccasin leather boot mixed with material contrast giving the boot just enough spring feeling. Everything about this boot; the fact that its hand sewn in the United States, made with the best leathers you can possibly find, and available in limited quantities are all the reasons we cant help but drool all over the keyboard.
