The patterns on these ties and scarves are not printed, they are created by stitching pieces of fabric together by hand to create the mosaic-like pattern. Every accessory is entirely hand stitched with a needle and thread and each product takes at least two days to complete (the more elaborate ones can take up to 5 days). Every tie is completely unique and a work of art in its own right. Brian Wayne uses no sketches, the patterns are created as he makes them, an intuitive and improvisational process. Here’s some interesting headphones designed by Brian Garret Schuur, the headphones are called Street Headphones and are made from a laser-sintered nylon shell. But here’s the cool part, customers are able to personalize the outer shell of the headset. The custom texted is etched in and pops up out of the headphones.
