Damien Hirst x Supreme | Skateboards
Produced with New York brand Supreme in 2009, all eight skateboard designs will be available online once again thanks to Other Criteria. In addition to the original custom made decks you can grab the 40 signed boards which feature a unique Damien Hirst drawing. See the original Supreme custom made decks here in all eight designs. A limited amount of boards will be released online at 10am on Thursday July, 14th.
Damien Hirst | Pharmacy Ashtrays
This ashtray by Damien Hirst was made for the Pharmacy restaurant but wasn’t included in the Pharmacy auction at Sothebys on October 18th 2004. The ashtrays were created as a piece of art and may not contain their form if used. The ashtrays come in seven styles and colors currently available online while supplies last.
Damien Hirst | “Forgotten Promises” Exhibition
To inaugurate the Hong Kong exhibition space, Gagosian Gallery is pleased to present “Forgotten Promises,” an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by Damien Hirst. In recent years, Hirst has developed his familiar iconography – the skull, the diamond and the butterfly – to explore fundamental ideas about existence. His work highlights the duality that lies at the heart of human experience, from our inexorable struggles between life and death, beauty and decay, desire and fear, love and loss. The exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue with an essay by curator Francesco Bonami, as well as an interview with Hirst conducted by art critic Karen Smith.
