Bringing in creative director Mark Wiesmayr, who has worked with Tsubi, Urban Outfitters and Blue Blood, Freshjive is stepping away from their streetwear roots and in the direction of a more men’s, designer-contemporary line while maintaining its street culture sensibility. Choosing to move forward without visible name branding, the new Freshjive has a focus on rustic modernism, in both texture and form, celebrating the masculine relationship between avant-garde design and heritage aesthetics.

Freshjive | Summer 2010 Collection
Chemical Records brings you the 2010 summer collection from progressive California streetwear label Freshjive. A solid street wear collection with basic cut and sew pieces alongside some t-shirt and tank top designs which are both made with a new custom cut with a finer weight cotton. The designs include ‘Dope Crisis’, ‘Sex and Violence’ and a tribute to the late actor and hellraiser, Dennis Hopper. Freshjive are still pursuing their mission to create a less commercial branding strategy, and strip their clothing of all logo branding, leaving it with simple black labels with a white frame surrounding the un-brand.
