Meridian Audio has announced the introduction of two new products, the DSP3200 Compact Digital Active Loudspeaker and the Audio Core 200 Stereo Audio Controller. These elegant loudspeakers echo the lines of Meridian’s flagship DSP8000 and are the most compact Meridian loudspeakers designed to date. Meridian’s Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies deliver powerful, room-filling sound with the performance of a conventional system many times the size. Meridian SpeakerLink connectivity makes connecting the DSP3200 to the Audio Core 200 quick and easy. Featuring a wide-range driver that allows the DSP crossover frequency to be well outside the speech band, the DSP3200 delivers an effortless sound that remains clear, open and spacious, even at high listening levels. In addition to a perfect digital crossover system, the DSP3200’s digital signal processing provides dynamic bass protection with accurate transients. DSP3200 loudspeakers always deliver quality sound – at high levels and for prolonged periods.

Meridian Audio | New Stores
Meridian Audio, the renowned British manufacturer of state-of-the-art audio and video entertainment systems, announces the opening of eleven new boutiques in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and South America. A notable British exporter of luxury technology goods, the Cambridgeshire-based company will open its new stores by the Spring of 2011. Meridian unveiled its first stand alone boutique in Bangkok in November 2009, followed in 2010 by Santiago (Chile) in September, Mexico City in October, Kuwait, Taipei (Taiwan), New Delhi and Bangalore (India) and Moscow in December. Further outlets in the United Kingdom, Moscow, Singapore and Beijing (China) are scheduled to be unveiled in the first quarter of next year.

Meridian Audio, Britain’s leading specialist manufacturer of high-end audio and video entertainment equipment, will supply its technologies to the next-generation of premium Range Rover vehicles. The in-car audio systems will match the sound quality of Meridian’s high-end home entertainment equipment. Meridian’s partnership with Range Rover begins with the all-new Evoque model to be launched at next week’s Paris Motor Show. It sees Range Rover and Meridian specialists working together to raise the standard of automotive in-car entertainment. The Evoque will be available with two optional high-end Meridian sound systems.
