Burberry Brit | Milan Store
Burberry is pleased to announce the opening of their Burberry Brit store in Milan – the first Burberry Brit store in Europe. The 250 square meter store opened on Corso Venezia on November 27th and reflects a new store design concept developed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey. British materials and themes are used throughout the store in a contemporary and innovative way. Burberry has two existing Burberry Brit stores – Madison Avenue and Columbus Avenue, both in New York.

Cell Phones | Apps For Milan Design Week
For Milan Design Week, it’s crucial to have helpful apps on your phone to guarantee that you won’t miss any of the action. The first app introduced is called Interni FuoriSalone (INTERNI) and is presented in English and focuses exclusively on the Fuori Salone, which brings together most of the design events in Milan. The Italian version of the app is FUORISALONE.IT. And like INTERNI it also is focused on Fuori Salone. For the 345,000 square meter area it’s important to have a map, and DesignIT guide is your tool. The exhibitor guide parallels the map given to you at the door of a show and includes an extensive list of exhibitors.

New Marc by Marc Jacobs Store and Cafe | Milan
Stephan Jaklitsch Architects has designed a new Marc by Marc Jacobs store in Milan, including the brand’s first café and bar. The new store and café, located in Milan’s historic Brera district at Piazza del Carmine 6, will open in early April.
