Part of SUPER’s special projects comes the limited People Vincenzo. The Vincenzo restyles SUPER’s People model with several very cool touches and is truly representative of the “RETROSUPERFUTURE” namesake. Classic havana acetate is paired with bold monotone tortoise acetate on both the bridge and temple. The gold plaques at the front and on the arms nicely catch the light to subtly shine against the havana as a great balance between a timeless simplicity and a modern freshness. PROJECT | SUPER Sunglasses | Fall 2011 Collection | Preview
At the PROJECT New York tradeshow last week SUPER Sunglasses debuted pieces from their upcoming Fall 2011 collection. The collection brings back popular styles like the Flat Top, the Classic, the People, the Andrea and plenty more with details this season including glossy looks and colored polarized lens. Super | Flat Black Briar
The Flat Top shape is a modern take on classic acetate sunglasses, with a straight line and crisp clean edges. The Black Briar is an ode to the classic luxury styling of the 1970’s. The front of the sunglasses have shiny black acetate while each of the temples feature panel in “Briar” that’s created using a rich material, giving the same smooth, glossy appearance of radica as was used in luxury cars. While the Black Briar series may heavily invoke the 70’s, they transcend era’s, making them a timeless classic in SUPER history.
SUPER | Spring/Summer 2012 Collection | ‘Giaguaro’ Sunglasses Preview
SUPER’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 will now include the Giaguaro sunglasses model. Through innovations in design, materials and coloring, the Giaguaro will get a major facelift with its classic shape and rounded lens. The sunglasses use an acetate frame with various colorways available sometime in early 2012.
