Woolrich For The Meningitis Trust | Lapland Husky Trail
On March 26th 2011, heritage brand Woolrich will sponsor a Lapland Husky Trail in association with Global Adventure Challenges, in aid of the Meningitis Trust. Hair stylist Mark Jobling will be driving a team of huskies 250 km across the frozen wastelands of Lapland. Camping out in temperatures as low as -30°C, his challenge will be to survive the raw elements whilst caring for the dogs in the extreme environment of the Arctic. Woolrich has equipped Mark with one of their iconic Arctic Parkas for the challenge. Originally developed to survive the harshest climate conditions, the Arctic Parka was worn by the workers who participated in the construction of the great Alaskan pipeline in the 1970s.
