The Event Space NYC was founded by Owners David Cory Beck of byDavid, Inc. – owner of one of manhattans elite hospitality staffing and event management firms Staffing & Events byDavid) – along with Matthew Shendell – owner of the Paige Restaurant Group (including The Hill, Honey and Dune South Hampton – Hamptons elite summer nightclub)
Together Beck and Shendell created The Event Space NYC which is one of manhattans most prestigious boutique ground level loft spaces. With their expertise they opened with the mindset of catering to more upscale private events (corporate, bar/bat mitzvahs, wedding, birthdays, sweet 16’s, etc). This they still do – but as Shendell being in the nightclub business they now use the space for nightclub purposes as well. Dates and times are sent out via private emails to keep it upscale and exclusive.
